Clinical Question: Is arthrodesis superior to bridge plate fixation for management of the ligamentous Lisfanc injury at one year?
Summary: This is a randomised controlled trial currently in pilot across Nelson and Christchurch Hospitals. Eligible participants are being randomised to arthrodesis or bridge plate fixation of their ligamentous Lisfranc injury. Total participants: 5 per arm. Ethics approval has been granted, and funding provision thanks to Wishbone Foundation and AO Trauma Asia Pacific. This project is intended for expansion to a national multi-centre trial pending proof of feasibility; total participants for this would be 30 per arm
