These Regulations are reviewed each year so it is important that you read prior to and in conjunction with completing an application for the SET Training Programme, even if you have applied previously we highly recommend that you read these each year. 

Note, the SET Selection Regulations take precedence over any information read elsewhere or advice given both written or verbally.

Selection Key Dates 2026

Applications Open 2pm NZST: Wednesday 18 February 2026 

Applications Close 2pm NZST: Wednesday 18 March 2026 

Workplace Assessments Open 9.00am NZST: Wednesday 8 April 2026 

Workplace Assessments Close 8.00pm NZST: Wednesday 22 April 2026

Interviews will take place at a date and venue to be advised in March 2026.
